Coming Soon: Recycled Screenings

thevideoessay.substack.com

Hello all,

I'm thrilled to announced the start of Recycled Screenings, a curated, free, donation-based platform through which video essay and other found footage filmmakers can screen their work.

Goal one: to offer a space for filmmakers to debut new works or bring older works into the digital space for a limited time. This a not-for-profit initiative, with the second goal being to provide a way for creators to raise funds via donations. Learn more here.

Starting January 9, 2023, Scout Tafoya's latest experimental feature Xenolith Atlas will be available to watch via Recycled Screenings until the end of the month.

Starting February 6, 2023, Cristina Álvarez López and Adrian Martin's Shake will be available to watch via Recycled Screenings!

I am actively in the process of curating works for the rest of the year, so please do be in touch if you have any thoughts. And please consider sharing this with your networks. Thank you!

All the best,

Will DiGravio
